Originally a drummer, Jean-Philippe Gross has played in the field of electronics, experimental and improvised music since 2001. He is curently playing with Stéphane Garin (Dénombrement), Jean-Luc Guionnet (Angle), Jérôme Noetinger, Axel Dörner, Clare Cooper (Nevers), John Hegre.
Recent works included music for theater, dance and performances, as well as compositions, Cutting Lines for the ensemble Dedalus, and Sécante for the project Phonoscopie.
From October 2001 to June 2009 he was engaged as a music program curator for Fragment (Metz, France).
He did also started his own record label, Eich, to release his collaborations and solo work.
