Acclaimed producer and composer, Craig Leon, presents the live UK debut of his seminal album, Nommos, with the Silk Street Sinfonia string quartet.
Leon has produced albums for the likes of Suicide, The Fall, Blondie, The Ramones, and Richard Hell but it's perhaps his own debut album, Nommos, (originally released on John Fahey's Takoma label in 1981) that deserves most acclaim. Out of print for 30 years, Nommos built up an ardent cult following before a full re-issue in 2013 and is now finding the audience it deserves. With its unique mix of analogue electronics, African drum samples and expansive arrangements it sounds every bit as vital now as it did upon it's original release.
