Infinity >< Sound - A Gong Odyssey - 12 hours of endless sound

No Longer Available

Infinity Sound is a Sound Installation exclusively conceived for the Oto project space by Simone Salvatici (polbrone, sselvatico) exploring the concept of self healing, time, space, meditation, self reflection on a very personal and individual level.

Bringing together and blurring the bounderies between Sound Therapy, sound art free improvisation, the sound installation / performance would involve gongs and crystal bowls alongside with auto-generative patch of modular and semi-modular synths to create a continuum modulated sound that auto-regenerate itself.

The installation will be on for the whole day from 12am to 12pm.
During the first and the last hour 12-13 and 23-00, the 9 musicians will play and interact together for a starting and closing ceremony. The rest of the time the players will take turns so that the gongs and the triggered sound will never stop.

The aim is to create a space that facilitate the listener to enter an altered state of consciousness therefore bringing the audience to a deeper state of the 'Here and Now', with an increase of awareness of inner time and space. The intention is to nurture the quantum shifting of consciousness of the listener in order to stimulate an inclusive state of universality rather than an exclusive one.

People entering in this dimension would have the opportunity to pass by or stop for an undetermined amount of time of their choice and experience this new time and space in anyway they wish.
So you are very welcome to bring a yoga mat a blanket, eye pillow or anythin to enjoy the sound there for as long as you feel/need.

The event is free, but donations will be very welcome to cover transport costs...
