Perhaps best known for his involvement in the underground psych bands Overhang Party and Miminokoto, Suzuki's solo guitar is strange, hypnotic and proves there is still ground to cover with a Strat or a Gibson SG. Recorded on his 'Ode To a Blue Ghost Tour' Junzo's Lonnie Johnson inspired set channels the bleak side of his playing. While hints of his blues and folk-inspired work can be heard at times, they're never far from the clutches of phantasmagorical loops and feedback squalls.
