Gary Willcox (drums) has been active in the UK Jazz and Improvisation music scene since the mid 1990s, playing with Jim Mullen, Keith Tippett, Paul Dunmall, Chris Batchelor, Loz Speyer’s Inner Space , Iain Ballamy; and with Dele Sosimi's Afrobeat, Pinise Saul and dance label Nuphonic. This has led him to perform at all of the UK’s leading venues and Festivals. As well as being a sideman and a member of the musicians' collective Way Out West, Gary leads his own groups, composing music for his quartet that has appeared regularly at Ronnie Scott's and 606 Club, and lately touring his Drummer/Composers Project.
