Nino Gvilia, the heteronym of giulia deval, brings her dreamy, slightly odd, and timeless folk repertoire to the stage with an intimate live set featuring harmonium, guitar, and tape recorders.
The concert will open with a tribute to Ed Askew, the cult figure of American psychedelic folk who passed away in early 2025. For the occasion, Nino Gvilia has reimagined Ask the Unicorn, a song written by Askew in 1968, turning it into a raw and haunting cry of voice and harmonium.
The greatest folk singer of her generation, too morose & experimental for crossover success returns for her first London show since 2015.
