Saturday 17 October 2020, 11am–10pm
Come down and hang out, enjoy our freshly stocked bar and browse through our records, books and posters. We have possibly the best beer in the world on tap from our friends at the Kernel plus an extensive range of spirits including Japanese whiskies alongside some great Single Malts from Scotland. Not to mention some exceptional beers in the fridge with a big range of Belgian greats including Dubbel, Westmalle Dubbel and the Trappistes Rochefort 10, as well as some new additions such as St Fullien and Mongozo Pils Gluten-Free beer.
Our very own Onyee Lo will be baking cakes and savory galettes, available from our bar on Saturday and Sunday, and we're excited to have our pal Laurie from Slip Imprint back in the building, selling their latest offerings of rogue hybrid music. Their recent release from Mentos Gulgendo (the sisters Nowacka of the brilliant WIDT) was a refreshing spanner in our field of rationality, and they're hoping to bring the latest tape from happy alchemist Bass Clef to top us up this time. They'll be on a stall from 11-4 and helping us play some tunes too.
We'd love to see you. In order to keep things safe we will be running the bar with dedicated seating and table service only; with a maximum of 6 people in each group and no standing. Tables will be on a first come, first served basis - please bear with us if we can't seat you straight away. Visitors will be asked to scan a QR code at the door when they arrive, using the NHS COVID-19 app. We will be providing hand sanitiser - and note that we will only be accepting card payments.
