RYMDEN presents: Ved + Coldnose + DJ Daun

No Longer Available

Ved

Started as a solo-project by Mattias Nihlén taking inspiration from film music, progressive rock, early electronic music and folk music. From a more drone-based ambient, the music has developed into a rhythmic machinery. And is now also a fully developed liveband delivering hypnotic instrumental rock music. Oriental influences together with surf and dub, Soviet electronics with horror movie soundtracks.

From the first 3" cdr in 2005, Ved have released three albums and two 12" on the Swedish labels Höga Nord, Adrian Recordings, Rundgång Rekords and Psychic Malmö.

In 2014, the band went on a three week tour in Kazachstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. They played live, recorded and collaborated with local musicians and hosted a improvisation clinic for youths at a school in Kyrgyzstan.

Coldnose

Coldnose creates dirty Techno beats inspired by Electro, D'n'B, Acid and Industrial. Improvised jams are recomposed and organized into songs. Live performances are spontaneous and can go in any direction which is why each live set is different, semi-improvised you could say especially with the distorted vocals that expresses frustration, pleasure, nonsense and rage.

So far two tapes released - first on the Swedish label Zeon Light Kassett and the latest on Funeral Fog Records.
