School of Noise present an all-ages afternoon of sound

ICHI
ICHI, from Japan, takes the notion of one-man-band to new limits by combining handmade instrument inventions with steel-drum, ping-pong balls & tape-loops.
DR JEN WILLS LAMACQ
Dr Jen Wills Lamacq is a Child & Educational Psychologist who specialises in parenting and the early years of childhood. She has worked across London for local authorities, the NHS, and in private practice. She also lectures on psychology at UCL. She has a special interest in the role of music in early development and in the power of music to bring about connections, happiness, and community.
FIELD GLASS
Field Glass is brothers Dan and Jacob Mayfield. They perform using glass, a Victorian harmonium, drum machines and analogue tape delays. Dan and Jacob also founded the School of Noise in 2015.
OTHER
This event will also have instruments from the School of Noise for people to play on including a theremin. There will also be a screening of The Sound Collector and a guest DJ to end the afternoon.
