Shuichi Chino

Started as a rock keyboardist since 1970’s with a group "Downtown Boogiewoogie Band", free jazz pianist with Akira Sakata in 80s, joined several groups such as “Wa-Ha-Ha” (Akira Sakata, Mishio Ogawa), “Changgo 5” (Yuriko Mukojima, Eitetsu Hayashi), “A-Musik” (Ken-ichi Takeda, Masami Shinoda), “Ground Zero” (Yoshihide Otomo, Junji Hirose), “Buffles” (Hiroshi Kawani, Yuji Sagae), “Inochinoimai” (Nobuyoshi Ino, Kazuo Imai), “Fuchigami to Funato Quartet” (Junko Fuchigami, Hiroshi Funato, Wataru Okuma).

Takashi Seo

Takashi Seo started as a jazz basist, won the grand prix of Yokohama Jazz Promenade Competition in 2006, with Mikio Ishida trio. Since then he has been playing with many musicians such as Fumio Itabashi (pf), Aki Takase (pf), Tetsu Saito(Cb), Eiichi Hayashi (sax), Yukihiro Isso(Noh musician), Yoriyuki Harada(pf), Daisuke Takaoka(Tuba), Akira Sotoyama(ds), Syota Koyama(ds), Min Tanaka(dance), Jean Laurent Sasportes(dance), Leona(tap), performed in many music festivals such as Yokohama Jazz Promenade, Singaporean WOMAD, RISING SUN ROCK FESTIVAL in EZO, PERCPAN(Rio de Janeiro,Salvador),ASIAN IMPROVISATION ART EXCHANGE2010(Seoul), International society of BASSISTS Convention 2013(Rochester. NY). Also he presides over a contrabass ensemble “Teigen” by more than 10 bassist since 2003, including Hideto Kanai, Nobuyoshi Ino, Tetsu Saito, and continues collaboration with not only jazz but also free improvisation and baroque music, world music, dance and art.

Yuriko Mukojima

Yuriko Mukojima started since her teens live performance with groups such as “Machine gun Tango” (Tori Kudo), “Pungo” (Jiro Imai), “Changgo 5” (Eitetsu Hayashi, Shuichi Chino,Tatsuo Kondo), “O U” (Kazuto Shimizu, Reichi, Tsuneo Imahori), “Batsuni Nanmo Klezmer” (Kazutoki Umezu, Koichi Makigami), "Shun Sakai Trio” (Hiromichi Sakamoto,Hiroaki Mizutani), Lars Hollmer, Willem Breuker, Tristan Honsinger, Shizuru Ohtaka. Many studio sessions with singers such as Tokiko Kato, Masato Tomobe, TeTsuhiro Daiku, Takio Ito, Masumi Hara, collaborations with theater (Rudolf Ziolo, Kazumi Kushida), Butoh dance (Anzu Furukawa).

Tristan Honsinger

After studied classical music in Boston, Honsinger moved to Montreal in 1969, then to Europe in 74, started improvisation with Derek Bailey’s Company, Misha Mengelberg & Han Bennink’s ICP, Alexander von Schlippenbach’s Globe Unity almost in the same period, also became a member of Cecil Tailor’s european unit. In 80’s he developed his own style of performance including acting, dance, narratives, started a group “This That and the Other” with Toshinori Kondo, Sean Bergin, Tiziana Simona. He has been composing for the group, string ensembles, chorus, mixed with various style of improvisation. Just Off is his latest ensemble founded in 2014 in Japan.
