An exploration of sound and scent, featuring solo performances from Rory Salter, Lani Rocillo and Felix Taylor. Rory and Lani will be responding to a scent composition of oakmoss, pine and bergamot, whilst Felix will be exploring sounds accompanied by palo santo.

Rory Salter

Rory Salter is a musician, artist and technician living in London. He has published albums under various monikers with Index Clean, TEETH, Zoomin' Night, Alter, TakuRoku, Infant Tree, Bison and amongst others.

His work is formed through experimentations with acoustic & electronic instruments, faulty & functional technologies, cassette tape, feedback and walking; motivated by exploring relationships to environment, work/labour & materials. It is rooted in practice and the forms of documentation and theory that come from that practice. He has performed and worked with Derek Baron, Ecka Mordecai, Russell Walker, Mark Peter Wright, Regan Bowering, Li Song and others

He co-runs the record label and mail-order distribution Infant Tree with artist Ben Victor Waggett and curates a series of concerts in London between Cafe OTO, Dalston and Spanners, Loughborough Junction. He also works as a sound technician.

Lani Rocillo

Lani Rocillo is a sacred arts practitioner and music maker. She facilitates deep and transformational spaces with harmonising sound immersion, plant medicines, breathwork, voice alchemy, kundalini yoga and community sharing circles.  She supports to awaken self empowerment and our natural capacity to self-heal, realise balanced health, compassionate purpose and heightened creative potential.

Lani offers ceremonies, retreats, one to one sessions and group training  worldwiide.   She is co-creator of  Our Light  Gathering,  a fully off-grid visionary festival, Hathor’s Rose Choir,  a choir exploring intuitive song creation, and founder of Academy of Sacred Arts.

felix taylor

felix taylor is a composer and artist from South London. His work looks towards field recording, musical composition, film scores, unlicensed radio broadcasts, graphic score and live performance. He is primarily concerned with memory, hauntings and experiences that disrupt monochronic time culture.

Previous projects include performances, collaborations, workshops, exhibited works and soundtracks for The ICA, Chisenhale gallery, BBC Sounds, Somerset House, South London Gallery, FACT Liverpool, Reduced Listening, Philip Glass, The Black Cultural Archive, GOMA, Thames Festival, Musicity, NTS Radio, The Arnolfini, The British Library, Museum of London, MACBA and We the Curious.
