The Thames Submarine presents an evening of sound and image with the films of Guy Sherwin and support from Billy Steiger.
Guy is a seminal figure in British experimental film and former member of the London Film Makers CO OP. Working since the 1970's his films deal with themes of time, repetition and light with a particular focus on sound and texture. This will be Guy's first performance in 3 years, his films possess strong performative element in a live context, being frequently visceral and vivid.

Support comes from composer and improvisational musician Billy Steiger, a regular performer at Cafe Oto and prolific artist. Billy has a new album coming out somepoint later this year.

Both artists contributed to The Thames Submarine which celebrates its first anniversary as a developing space for sound focused work, performance and practice. Featuring such artists as Maria Chavez, Ellen Fullman, Athaniasos Argianas and Guy Sherwin amongst others.

Also on the bill will be a minimal, drone and ambient set by Ilia Rogatchevski - Presenter of Resonance FM's new monthly show Midnight Echoes.
