Marking the release of Able Noise's debut album, High Tide.
Able Noise is a project composed of baritone guitar player George and drummer Alex, two experimental musicians based in The Hague and Athens respectively. Focusing on the live experience, the duo engineer a minimal and visual performance using voices, field recordings and cassette tapes to expand their unusual sound. In their live sets, Able Noise are known to shape their music through the physicality of their playing and the acoustics of the space.Following a cassette release on GLARC in 2020, Able Noise's debut album, High Tide, is to be released via World of Echo on 1st November
Jon Collin makes music, sound and art using stringed instruments, long tones, found objects, field recordings, anxiety and friction. His recorded practice is based around interactions with the world through recordings made in non-studio locations. He has released records on e.g. Discreet Music (Sweden), Feeding Tube Records (USA) and DDS (UK). His collaborative work includes three LPs with Demdike Stare, releases of live collaborations with Bill Nace and Sarah Hughes, and an upcoming trio record with Troth on A Colourful Storm (Australia). He runs the record label Early Music and ran the tape label project Winebox Press.
Suzan Peeters is a Belgian accordionist, composer, and experimentalist. She is constantly looking for new timbres and sound textures within the accordion, pushing its acoustic spectrum to its limits. Through distortion, electroacoustic manipulations and the use of a vibrating fitness board, she is manipulating the interplay between her body and the body of her instrument.
