A gem in the archive! Two of the world's finest drummers going head to head their only duo performance. Previous to this encounter they had just formed a stellar quintet with Ishmael Wadada Leo Smith, Lol Coxhill and Pat Thomas, where their contrasting styles meshed together so beautifully we're pressing it on wax. The two of them on their own together makes for an explosive combination - rich in texture, event and polyrhythmic brilliance. So glad to be able to share this.
