Caroline Bervall is a sound artist, and writer, who works across art forms, media and languages. Her live work involves original texts, speech-led vocal compositions, as well as electronic elements and field recordings, which culminate in performances that explore linguistic connections and new modes of cultural belonging. Recent commissions: Planet P (Berlin, 2020), Dublin ILF (2019), Whitstable Biennale (2018), Documenta14 (2017). Most recent book: Alisoun Sings (Nightboat Books, NY, 2019). Awarded a Cholmondeley Award for her book and project Drift (2017), first recipient of art prize Prix Littéraire Bernard Heidsieck-Centre Pompidou (Paris 2017)
