James Massiah
James Massiah, the south London poet, producer and DJ, Taking inspiration from Talking Heads and James Brown – among others – charismatic creative Massiah has also read at the Southbank Centre, Tate Modern and the Houses of Parliament. He’s created a film walking the streets of Dalston and Brixton, tunefully rhyming archetypes with arty types during a poem on gentrification. Massiah writes poetry that is sometimes performed to music and shares his work through The A & The E, a philosophy and arts-based project he founded in 2012 when aged 22, fresh out of university in search of a space to share his poetry and thought. James Massiah will be performing with Lord Tusk, their second single for Accidental Meeting comes this Summer.
Lord Tusk
A music producer with over 50 releases covering multiple genres, a selector who takes listeners on a journey to worlds unknown, London-based Lord Tusk is a multidisciplinary artist with an extensive knowledge in eclectic music. Lord Tusk runs and releases his music projects through label UltraWaveVisions. Lord Tusk will be performing with James Massiah, their second single for Accidental Meeting comes this Summer.
MA.MOYO
Belinda Zhawi aka MA.MOYO (b. Zimbabwe) is a literary & sound artist based in London & Marseille, author of Small Inheritances. Her literary & sound works have been featured on various platforms including The White Review, Vogue, NTS, Boiler Room & BBC Radio. She was a Brixton House Associate Artist 2022 - 24 and is the co-founder of literary arts platform, BORN::FREE. Her debut album was released on AD93 Records in November 2024. MA.MOYO will be performing with Nova Varnrable after their forthcoming EP on Accidental Meetings.
Nova Varnrable
Nova Varnrable is a Copenhagen-based artist whose work spans a myriad of sounds, including techno, soul, and experimentalism. Their latest EP, ' pulling away * * * * * * that have * * * * or * * * * just couldn't' do it *love u* ', was released on the 5 Gate Temple imprint on November 8, 2024. Nova will be perofrming with MA.MOYO after their forthcoming EP on Accidental Meetings.
The mysterious and immaculately curated Cold light records. Expect real-world lyricism and arcane beats, rooted in the sub bass. Withdrawn, Birthmark & ELDON will be performing alongside some special guests.
Lou Venturini twists punky folk with well-shaped club shapes, getting the balance right between jerky, DIY noise and precisely engineered club sounds. He will be DJing throughout the night.
