Experimental music specialists Apartment House launch the second part of Another Timbre’s acclaimed Canadian Composer Series. Following the first batch of discs and concerts in 2017, five new CD releases feature music by Linda Catlin Smith, Cassandra Miller, Lance Austin Olsen and Alex Jang. Cassandra Miller will be present at a concert of many premieres and of extreme contrasts, from the ecstatic outpouring of Cassandra’s ‘O Zomer!’, through the dark textural rumblings of Lance Austin Olsen, the exquisite poise of Linda Catlin Smith’s soundworld, to the quiet introversion of Alex Jang’s music.
