£18 £16 Advance £10 MEMBERS

Since winning NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Contest in 2016, violinist, singer and songwriter Gaelynn Lea has captivated audiences around the world with her haunting original songs and new takes on traditional fiddle tunes.

In 2022, she contributed a bewitching soundtrack to the production of Macbeth on Broadway starring Daniel Craig and Ruth Negga. Now she will be touring the UK for the first time since 2019 to launch her soundtrack album Music from Macbeth, released thanks to a Whippoorwill Arts Fellowship. Alongside new music from the album, Gaelynn will be performing a wide selection of favourites from her back catalogue.

One of Gaelynn’s biggest passions is promoting Disability Culture. She co-founded RAMPD [Recording Artists and Music Professionals with Disabilities] in 2022 and has since connected with d/Deaf and disabled artists globally, including Ruth Lyon and James Holt in the UK. She has also collaborated with artists as diverse as Michael Stipe, The Decemberists, and the industrial rock supergroup Pigface.

In association with Attitude is Everything. The venue is wheelchair accessible, and BSL interpretation as well as captioning will be provided through generous support from Attitude Is Everything.

“Karen Dalton and Joanna Newsom melt together in the form of Gaelynn Lea & set about absolutely obliterating your heart.” – Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys)

Miss Jacqui

Miss Jacqui is a multi-talented artist who is known for her powerful poetry and soulful music. As a Spoken Word Artist and Songwriter, she has a unique ability to weave together words and melodies to create a message that is both thought-provoking and inspiring.

But Miss Jacqui's talent goes far beyond her ability to create beautiful art. As a wheelchair user herself, she has faced many challenges and obstacles throughout her life. However, she has never let those challenges define her. Instead, she has used her experiences to become an advocate for people with disabilities and a voice for those who may not have one.

Through her poetry and music, Miss Jacqui strives to challenge societal perceptions and break down barriers. She wants her listeners to see the world differently, to think outside the box, and to embrace their differences. Her goal is to inspire others to feel confident in being themselves, no matter what society may say.

In addition to her work as a poet and songwriter, Miss Jacqui is also a facilitator. She uses her skills to lead workshops and discussions on topics such as diversity, inclusion, and disability rights. Her ability to connect with people and create a safe and welcoming space for discussion has made her a sought-after speaker and educator.

Overall, Miss Jacqui is a true artist, activist, and advocate. Her passion for using her talents to make a difference in the world is truly inspiring, and her commitment to challenging societal norms is something that we can all learn from.
