Sonic Poetics is not fixed or pure. Rather, Sonic Poetics is in a constant state of becoming. Sonic Poetics is chaotic and kinetic; it takes into account non-human sounds and vocal soundings as well as inaudible sound, impossible music, and imagined sound. Sonic Poetics treats auditory hallucination with the same attention as voice, whatever is representing voice in any given moment.

Her second collection will be published by Granta in 2024. Tentatively called Now Let’s Take a Listening Walk, it hazards a musical journey through history, myth, and sci fi. S McEvoy is an artist working with and through sound. With an intuitive practice rooted in play and improvisation, they investigate sound and its relationship with bodies through sculpture, installation and composition. They make techno under the name tuuun, and other sound under any number of other aliases. In 2016 they established the label and publisher FLUF, which is a platform for sharp sound in many formats. They lead the Laboratory of Sound at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Art.
Hylozoic/Desires (Himali Singh Soin & David Soin Tappeser) is a multi-media performance duo whose work combines experimental poetry and original music in order to conjure borgesian, speculative futures and multiverses. Himali Singh Soin is a writer and artist based between London and Delhi. She uses metaphors from outer space and the natural environment to construct imaginary cosmologies of interferences and entanglements. In doing this, she thinks through ecological loss and the loss of home, seeking shelter somewhere in the radicality of love. david soin tappeser is a drummer, composer and performance artist based between london and new delhi. his practice centres around ideas of time, interdependence and alterity. his performances and compositions use rhythm to codify, manipulate and deconstruct linear perceptions of time. they hint at intercultural entanglements, parallel histories and extra-human frames of reference.
