Two revenant stories by Léon Bloy, with music by Nurse With Wound.
Léon Bloy (1846-1917) was a French novelist and pamphleteer, friend and disciple of Jules Barbey d'Aurevilly, close to Paul Bourget, François Coppée, Joris-Karl Huysmans and Jean Richepin, and famous for his partly autobiographical novel "Le Désespéré".
A British music project formed in 1978 by Steven Stapleton, John Fothergill and Heman Pathak, Nurse With Wound (now Stapleton's variable geometry project) is an essential figure of English experimental and industrial music since the early 80's. With more than 150 releases, alone or with other musicians, Stapleton has swept widely different musical styles, from industrial music to mambo, through electronics, improvisation, electroacoustics, with a lot of humor.
