"Razen is the Belgian band led by the duo Brecht Ameel and Kim Delcour who have been exploring different musical worlds since 2010. For the past decade we witnessed the shape of their own sound without repeating themselves in a truly unique way.
Razen played their very first concert at les ateliers claus and came back a decade later. This concert stands for 10 years of Razen-evolutionary music while revisiting our venue. It took place end September 2019.

Razen has been a constant factor in my own personal musical journey, while working at Kraak - listening to their debut recordings, seeing the first performances and then witnessing them refine the Razen sound without compromising. Not losing their focus, but in the contrary mastering a certain continuity in their layered compositions while carefully choosing the instrumentations. A heady brew of deep listening music that is almost medieval in mood and wholly reverential in technique."
