“The Last Amazing Band” are recordings prior to and after Mal’s passing.

 After Mal Dean’s demise this quartet became the very Last Amazing Band. Prior to Mal’s demise he had set-up the last Amazing Bands which subsequently produced five albums. There were differing personnel in the Amazing Band in the late 1960s / early 70s, all of which were Mal’s Brain-Child / Birdie. The People Band & Amazing Band also appeared & on a double bill, to which Mal commented that it was like Godzilla (People Band) toying with a precious flower (Amazing Band) in the musical exchange. Not sure where recorded or by whom, but there is a Big Subliminal Hum."
